Category Development Manager, Kroger - Health & Beauty Care (Feb ’05 - Nov ‘06) 

 Received the highest performance rating on performance evaluation; top 5% of 35,000 employees. 

 Developed product assortment and shelf placement recommendations, and utilized third-party software to design planograms. Captured category captain leadership from P&G to assist the Kroger buyer in planogram reviews and resets, and increased Colgate shelf space by 25 inches while other manufacturers’ space was flat or down. 

 Analyzed POS data (AC Nielsen, dunnhumby and Kroger specific data) and leveraged key findings into the promotional planning process.  Initiated and developed a new breakthrough Category Development Manager Optimization process which was adopted by national sales.

 Analyzed consumer insights and Kroger specific data. Presented category business plan to Kroger Sr. Management on a quarterly basis securing a 5% market share increase.

 Analyzed IRI data of major national brands with annual sales of $610 million, tracked sales execution. 

 Created retail presentations for field sales, and presented category reviews to Albertsons and Kroger achieving new item distribution, and a new win-win pricing strategy.
